Telbix is one of Australia’s largest B2B lighting wholesalers with over 35 years in the industry and more than 2,500 in-house designed products. From their Broadmeadows facility in Melbourne, they supply designer pendants, wall lights, floor lamps, table lamps, and commercial lighting to electrical wholesalers and resellers across Australia.

As part of a bold push for ongoing digital transformation, Telbix harnessed its strong legacy and reputation for affordable designer lighting to launch a revitalised digital-first brand experience, one designed to elevate customer engagement and position them for scalable, long-term growth.


Approach

Creating a robust B2B marketing analytics platform for transparent performance tracking

Telbix approached KLIQ with a clear goal: to increase brand visibility across different markets and referral opportunities across their extensive distributor network. With an already strong reputation in affordable designer lighting and longstanding partnerships in place, the focus was on scaling their digital footprint particularly through optimising their e-commerce performance and aligning marketing activity across key regions across Australia. After reviewing their objectives, we identified an account-based marketing (ABM) approach as the most effective way to drive this transformation.

The first step of our partnership was establishing clear visibility into their marketing performance. To do so, we implemented KLIQmetrics™ – our proprietary analytics dashboard that consolidates marketing data across platforms into one real-time view. As well as ensuring the measurability of our campaign from the onset, KLIQmetrics™ gave Telbix the ability to monitor all marketing efforts as they unfolded, creating opportunities for monthly strategy refinement rather than waiting for end-of-quarter reviews

It evolved into a vital asset for Telbix’s internal marketing team, providing the transparency needed to demonstrate results to senior leadership and validate marketing investment. This transparency helped build confidence across the organisation and ensured everyone stayed aligned, adapted faster, and focused on high-impact opportunities.


Precision audience targeting through a strategic B2B Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach

Given their history, Telbix possessed deep knowledge of their customer landscape, which helped with building referral opportunities for their extensive network. We worked closely with their team to transform this expertise into structured audience data. Together, we developed detailed databases of Telbix’s target customers segmented by job titles of decision makers and locations across Australia.

Telbix needed to reach multiple distinct audience segments efficiently, each requiring different messaging and creative approaches to resonate with their unique needs and pain points. Every advertising campaign across Meta, Google and LinkedIn was tailored to the target audience segments. We balanced brand awareness messaging with seasonal product showcases and new product announcements, ensuring each piece of creative would land with its intended audience, including existing clients.

In parallel with the paid media strategy, we extended the ABM approach through carefully timed nurture emails to Telbix’s client base to inform them of new arrivals and seasonal products, keeping the brand top of mind and encouraging repeat purchases through timely, value-driven touchpoints.

Our team built their email marketing platform and collaborated with Telbix’s content specialists to ensure every communication was relevant, product-led, and aligned with seasonal buying patterns. All outbound marketing efforts were coordinated closely with the sales team to maintain seamless alignment across the customer journey ensuring existing customers were regularly engaged.

By taking this highly targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach, we helped Telbix reduce the cost per click by 43% while simultaneously increasing qualified leads by 160% and quote requests by 66.67%. This meant only investing marketing dollars where they would deliver the strongest return.


Supporting a seamless B2B digital transformation and SEO platform migration

As Telbix prepared to transition to their new ERP platform, we worked closely with both the Telbix and platform provider teams to ensure the new website would be fit for purpose. The platform migration needed to happen without disrupting the growing momentum from our marketing campaigns, while also preparing the site to convert the increased traffic we were driving.

We analysed user behaviour on the existing site and provided UI/UX and site architecture recommendations to optimise the user journey – particularly important as we anticipated a significant increase in traffic from our marketing efforts. Our team collaborated with the new platform developers throughout the migration process, offering strategic input on site structure, user flow and conversion optimisation.

Furthermore, we were very mindful of maximising conversion by making the site intuitive and performance-focused for supporting their increased brand awareness. We collaborated with the platform developers to ensure a smooth migration that preserved SEO integrity and elevated the overall user experience. Following a seamless launch, the new website proved successful in maintaining the gains achieved through our marketing efforts while providing an even stronger foundation for future growth.
